Participation in the Contest Forum is required. In the Contest forum, please create your post with the subject line "Tell a Story: (the title of your story):(your user name)". This is the post that you will update with your progress. You should also view other entrants posts and make comments on their work. This is a chance for people to get a different viewpoint on their work, so any criticism should be CONSTRUCTIVE. Aggressive behavior or rude comments will not be tolerated and the offender will be removed from the competition and the C3DE website. Part of the final decision regarding the winners will be forum participation. The C3DE forum is currently not able to host images or video, so you will need to post your visual materials elsewhere and provide the links in your forum post.

Final video submissions should be a minimum of 2 minutes long and a maximum of 10 minutes long.

You may enter the competition as an individual, or form a group of no more than 2 people.

All animations for this contest should be posted on the video hosting website of your choice. Any images or video deemed to contain content that depicts violence, racial, political, religious, and sexual or any other inflammatory material in an inappropriate manner will be disqualified and removed. Interpretation of what is, and is not, appropriate material is at the sole discretion of C3DE. The artist assumes all responsibility and costs for delivering images and video to C3DE for consideration in the competition.

All video animations should be original works and comply with all copyright laws. They should also not have been previously displayed or created prior to the start of this contest. Do not submit a video that has been viewed or entered in any other competition.

Entries will be judged on artistic and technical merit within the scope of the competition theme. The interpretation of these rules, the theme, artistic or technical merit of the work and any other consideration made by the judges is at the sole discretion of the judges.

The final video remains the exclusive property of the entrant, but each entrant gives C3DE the right to use the final video on the C3DE website provided full credit for the entrant is clearly given.
